They were dull as fuck with a fraction of the resources. Even then, I quite liked David Rocastle, he was fun to watch.

Watching back on that footage when we beat them Christmas '89, even then they're surrounding the ref and whining that Mountfield was offside when he wasn't.

I think I associate them, more than any other club, with surrounding the referee. They've always done it.

That team set the standard and Fergie took it to a new level.

Yep, Budgie the Little Helicopter was a fucker for it down the old Sunday league.

Most of them were pissed a lot of the time.
I quite liked Niall Quinn to be fair, more talented than he looked.
Artetas lot are terrible, the last few mins of the semi final against Atletico, all the subs were literally encroaching the pitch, when the ball went out for Atleticos throw ins, doing everything they could to avoid giving the ball back, Arteta leading the charge.

That George Graham midfield was so good it would only concede about 70% to ours now. An amazing watch for those who saw them. And the defence would be lauded by us alongside Barrett, Ugo, Nielsen, Mountfield, Southgate, Mellberg, Mings, Konsa, Torres... any of those we get misty eyed about except one. It was an exceptional side but, given Arsenal's current YouTube twats, absolutely terrible.
