I assumed it was an 8pm kick off

Me too, I had the tennis on and my mrs came home and wondered why I wasn't watching the match, that was on 60 mins. I'm glad I missed Arsenal scoring though.

Just switched on AFTV and there's a guy reading out what I think are tweets from rival fans about how shit Arsenal are, whilst four grown men sit around him looking broken. What is that all about?

Turned it off. Lol though.

Hey, that sounds like BAFTA winning to me.

Mike Leigh's already done it with Hard Truths but like Arsenal he only got the Runners Up spot.

You can't largely park the bus for 84 minutes then ET.  You can't moan at VAR when it's given you the success you've acquired this season.  And for Gabriel missing the penalty...it couldn't happy to a better person, the odious prick.

So glad they didn't win that.

They'd have been unbearable.

what day is   Arsenals parade :)

Tomorrow. I was at a gig in Highbury last night. Barriers have already been put up along the route

They’ve been putting them in position since at least Wednesday. Makes it all the more amazing that ours went ahead with less than 24-hours notice.

It will be a different kind of event to ours as it doesn’t culminate at a big public space. Probably due to the fact that, with the possible exception of Highbury Fields, there aren’t any big public spaces in Islington anyway. Instead they will be circling the route continuously for a few hours.

They should just park the bus for 84 minutes.

Quote
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta on his side's penalty shout in extra time: "I watch all the penalties in the competition this season over the last 72 hours to understand what's a penalty and not. That easily can be a penalty."

If you really did, it was only to tell your players how to dive in the box to win one.

Plenty out there online saying that Arsenal were the better side and they were so brave etc etc. It was a bad, boring game and Arsenal fully made it that way I suppose. Saka was absolutely anonymous.

Arsenal may well have been the better side, in a different match.
