Indeed, I was listening to a podcast earlier and they were discussing the dominance of English teams and which competition felt right for certain teams next season, not just English ones. Brighton & Freiburg in the conference were mentioned and then they said Milan and Juve in the Europa. They’re continental heavyweights and most definitely Champions league teams.

Even before you get to those there's some decent teams just in the qualifying rounds, it feels weird seeing Besiktas, Anderlecht and Benfica in the 2nd qualifying round for example.

Both the Champions League finalists got beaten the last time they played at Villa Park. The big test for them will be in the Super Cup final.
