How is supporting the Scottish Liverpool sticking up for anybody? So the Green Brigade pricks mix up their time running up and down high streets in green Stone Island and green gimp masks and waving Palestian flags about. About as worthwhile an endeavour as Union Bears gimps in black Stone Island and blue gimp masks waving union Jacks about. Who gives a fuck about the self agrandising twats antics? Being a prod and somebody who quite likes the country in which I live provides no shared kinship with Rangers and frankly anybody; absolutely fuck everybody else who is not the Villa.

More equivalence.

I get the feeling that I’d have a tough time convincing people that James Brown singing ‘Say it Loud, I’m Black and I’m Proud’ is not the same as Skrewdriver singing some racist drivel.

Mel Gibson died for their right to do that!

The last 2 sentences:

In recent years some Celtic fans have been involved in anti-social behaviour after gathering in their thousands in the Merchant City and Trongate areas of Glasgow.
As a precautionary measure glass was removed from bus stop shelters on Friday, and the club urged supporters to avoid mass gatherings which have a "high impact" on the city.

Last time I was in Glasgow was about 10 years ago for a reunion. For financial/travel reasons Glasgow was the chosen location, which wouldn't have been my first choice. Nevertheless we had a cracking time.

Lots of excitement around Europe today.

Club Brugge v Union St Gilloise. Visitors have to win in order to claim a League and Cup double.

Italy, load of teams trying to get Champion's League. Spain, half the League can still go down.

And Ajax currently 5th!

Nice not to be stressing about the Brighton result today. Hope they win to put pressure on Liverpool.

I fancy West Ham might get a win at Newcastle.

I don't, Brighton can get fucked, they seem to hate us for some reason and they're called 'Albion'.

But if there does need to be that sixth side (or even a side that overtakes Liverpool), better that it's Brighton (who we usually beat) over Brentford (who we usually don't) for next year's inevitable first CL knock-out game.

We did the league double over those Brentford twats last season and hadn't lost to them for three seasons I think, so I thought we'd laid that hoodoo to rest. Came back with a vengeance this season mind.

I’ve been to most cities in the UK and Ireland,  and Glasgow was one of my favourites.  Reminded me of brum quite a bit actually.

Yeah, it’s great. I’ve been there more than any other British city except Birmingham, and (maybe) London. I’ve definitely stayed nights there the most (except for Greenock where my Celtic mate lives. Known as Doherty but as he says, that’s only his slave name).

That's fair too.

Reckon my instinct is to root for Everton, Brighton, Forest, and West Ham. And not be arsed either way about the others.

A poor end to the season for Man Utd would be nice to send them into the summer with a "have we done the wrong thing here, lads?" feeling.

Everton winning today means they'll be properly up for it against Spurs.

West Ham = obvious.

Brighton, if Leeds could be put nicely placed on their deck chairs with a couple of "our season is done" cocktails for West Ham next week.

Yep I think Dave has summarized that quite nicely.
