I know quite a few (at least notionally) catholic Jambos honestly, as well as a couple of pretty hardcore proddy Hibies. Times change.

Football really needs to give itself a "head wobble" - firstly spygate and then the handball VAR last night. It's just clickbait and shock jock radio nonsense. Firstly, Saints should get a fine like Leeds did. As for the Celtic handball, it's obvious the defender has his hand in front of his head when the "header" takes place. There's also an argument for an elbow into the neck of the attacker. So can't see what the problem is. Especially when Emi Buendia gets nothing for Walker's boot removal at Burnley yet Maatsen got penalised for something similar at Mould Trafford at the end of last season!

They probably will in the end, but the difference is there wasn't a specific rule about spying on another teams training before a match when Leeds did it so they had to use a generic term which meant no point changes could be made. They now have a specific rule about it which Southampton deliberately breached, hence why the punishement is up in the air. Maybe they should have clarified the potential punishments ahead of time and I suspect a simple 3 points deduction might have been made before the season was finished. Now though it is harder to apply anything due to lack of time for processes and to change the finallists.

If I heard it right on talking sporting they said no one could spy on a another team 72 hours before a game which was implemented after the Leeds scandal

Jesus Christ I've just seen the Celtic penalty, at the same end on Saturday that the ref didnm't give Hearts a pen after being sent to the monitor and it was absolutely stick on. Those two decisions get correctly awarded and they're champions already.
