Best part of a decade in Edinburgh, I never encountered sectarianism from anyone associated with either of the two city clubs. You can take that foreign nonsense back to Clydeside where it belongs.

We haven't got a toaster any more. The kitchen ceiling fell on ours.

We probably should have put it in the cupboard, in hindsight.

Chance of still winning the title with a couple of games to go and loads of empty seats at the Etihad

Pathetic
That is why I can’t take the proposed 60k capacity for Blues’s new stadium seriously. I don’t mean that they won’t do it, just that there is no way to sensibly justify that capacity on the basis of football.

You get Blues supporters saying that they are a historically well-supported club, and if they are in the.Premier League they will automatically generate the demand to fill it.

However, Man City have had one of the most successful 15-year periods of any club, ever, and they still don’t have a 60k capacity. That can only be because they haven’t had the demand to justify it. This is despite them enjoying unprecedented success, having access to virtually infinite funds, and being a historically better-supported club than Blues.

I think Blues’s proposed 60k capacity is primarily generated by other events rather than football, regardless of what Blues fans might try to convince themselves.

A few years working at BHX gave a rough guide to popular support and in order the shirts being worn during the week were Villa, Liverpool, Manchester United, Small Heath, Wolves, Coventry (these two in a We'll Show the Brummies type of way), Stripeys, Arsenal. Everyone else was the occasional sighting - for all their success, Chelsea and 115 FC rarely registered.

In going to the match terms it was the first three again then Wolves.

Putting a ceiling in a cupboard might have been tricky.

I hope everybody keeps their bananas seperate from other fruit. Bananas react if kept with other fruit and they go off quicker.
Very good for ripening avocados though
I don’t like avocados - but I quite like quacamoli.
Blimey chaps, Avocados and Guacamole? No wonder blose think Villa fans are from another planet.

Much like Digne in our SF, what the bloody hell is the Motherwell players hand doing there, in his own penalty box in the 99th minute?

I thought it was a foul and therefore a penalty. Jumping and leading with your arm was outlawed years ago.

There’s a really good book on the jambo-hibs rivalry called ‘Heartfelt’ by Aidan Smith, who is/was a journalist for the Scotland on Sunday and a hibbie. The premise of the book was to follow hearts home and away for a whole season, which he does with an old hearts-supporting school friend and his mate. He writes about them high fiving (Aidan not involved) when the pope died. Also about an away at Ibrox where he absolutely loses it at a home supporter wearing an England jersey, and instead of him getting chucked out the stewards chucked the England jersey-wearer out.

It’s a fantastic book, well worth a read.

Football really needs to give itself a "head wobble" - firstly spygate and then the handball VAR last night. It's just clickbait and shock jock radio nonsense. Firstly, Saints should get a fine like Leeds did. As for the Celtic handball, it's obvious the defender has his hand in front of his head when the "header" takes place. There's also an argument for an elbow into the neck of the attacker. So can't see what the problem is. Especially when Emi Buendia gets nothing for Walker's boot removal at Burnley yet Maatsen got penalised for something similar at Mould Trafford at the end of last season!

He only retired  approximately 5 years ago
