At least if we win we can't play Palace in Europe next season. It would almost make up for the catastrophe of potentially letting Brentford into the Champions League.

Could be an English clean sweep of European trophies.

Hope not!

The infrequency that teams win consecutive Champions Leagues is where my historical concerns currently lie.

As a counter, there's the infrequency with which Arsenal win it.

It's funny how we're the only goodies out of the 3 though.

On the bright side, French League is a piece of piss, so PSG can rest up before the Final.

Plus we know Kvaratskhelia won't be saving himself for the World Cup.

What a player he is - i could watch him all day

The goal against us in France at the time i was critical of the defence but his shimmy was amazing - has to be the most exciting dribbler in the world at the moment

Not only is he a joy to watch, he just gets up after getting whacked, no fanny arsing about.

On the subject of whether Bournemouth are going to catch us or not, their preparations aren't going to be helped by dropping Alex Jimenez from their squad for inappropriately messaging a 15 year old.

Nice to be able to look forward to playoffs. I wouldn't be watching any football if we had gone out yesterday.

Just some Hull player did a great run and he said something like "it was like the dancing feet at Villa Park yesterday". May not be verbatim.

Just imagined every Small Heath fan sitting down to watch and getting annoyed all over again and it made me smile.
