Regarding last nights game, where was the…
Rolling around on the floor at every contact.
Screaming at the referee, contesting every decision.
WWE event at every corner.
Long throws hurled into the box.
Endless sideways and back passing.

These continental teams really need to keep up, they’re falling behind The Prem.

Plenty of the first was happening, especially from the Bayern players I thought, and definitely quite a bit of the second as well.

There was of course some histrionics but I didn’t notice anywhere near as much as a Prem game, maybe the flowing end to end football over shadowed any bad behaviour that was going on.

I certainly didn’t see any of the disgraceful abuse the ref got at The Theatre of Nightmares on Monday, that c*nt Fernandes went ballistic over a corner that wasn’t given despite the keeper being 2 yards from the ball.

I thought the ref was excellent last night and played his part in allowing the game to flow

Although the PSG penalty was disputable. Personally I still think there was not enough of a deflection from the thigh to change the flight of the ball and it was hitting his arm either way, the one which he tucked behind, then stuck out to his side then instantly tucked behind him again. Noticed a few on SM moaning about the one lino being a woman as well. Twats.

I did think it strange that it was a Swiss ref but Spanish rest of the team though. They don't normally mix and match them.

The ref last night was brilliant from what I saw. It will be interesting to see how a continental ref manages game networks English clubs tomorrow.

One notable thing about both Bologna games was the refereeing. I thought both were very finicky but consistent and even handed and the players of both teams learned how to manage the ref’s interpretation of the game. IIRC there were few cards in both legs.
