If that was a Forest player against us on Thursday, we’d want a penalty for it.

I absolutely wouldn't. Off the leg and hitting the arm should never be a pen.

I wouldn't expect one for that.

I don't there is any mention of a deflection means it isn't, the main concern is is the hand/arm out and could it be construed as deliberate. He had them tucked behind his back and then stuck it out and it was hit.  I can see decision for and against either way but if his arm wasn't stuck out the ball was still going into a dangerous area, with it out it didn't.

One of their twats nearly pulled Morgan's arm out the socket and we never got a pen

Definitely not a pen. But what a half of football.

I’d want one if I didn’t know the rules.

What a half of football. Imagine being an Arsenal fan watching that and thinking how the magician Arteta will try and stop either PSG or Bayern it will be a real beauty and the beast game of football. Pity as this should have been the final..

We'd be spitting feathers if it was given the other way

His arm to me looked in a natural position, what's not is having your arms tucked in by your side whilst trying to remain in balance.

There isn't a rule that says you have to completely tuck your arms away so they can't possibly touch the ball.

He's probably done himself a bit by putting them behind his back, then back out again. If he hadn't, maybe he'd have got away with it. Still not a pen though.

Avoided that by switching over to watch some of the Former future stars of Villa now playing for Ipswich v the Former future stars if Villa now playing for Southampton.

Seems a cracking game as well, but I’ve switched back to the Harlem Globetrotters in Paris

If there is anything to show some footballers get gigs because they used to be able to play football and it doesn't matter how unsuitable they are at it, Rooney and Deeney are classic examples.
