Apparently the FAC final will be the 34th time ManC have played at Wembley in the last 15 years. Much as I want us to win stuff I don't think i'd enjoy us being that dominant. Am I the only one?

No. They were dead eyed in 2019 when were there.

One team being this dominant is not good for the game, putting aside the questions marks over how it's been achieved. The final is desperately unappealing, but the media will build it up expecting a classic whereas most fans will shrug their shoulders.

Their mooted "super league" would be exactly the same. It would ruin football for everyone, including those in it.

I'd be willing to try it for 10 years, and see how I feel then.

It's a bit mad they're going to win a second domestic treble and it doesn't even seem like they're as good as they used to be

I still like watching the cup final, but not a chance Ill be going out of my way to watch it this year, I suspect the viewing figures will be low. And no, like anything in life, good or bad, repeat, rinse, repeat is fooking dull, certain amounts of jeopardy are essential to my in particular villa but general football watching experiences

Same here, but then…..

16 months when we beat them at home I was chatting to a couple of their fans at Witton station. Decent blokes around 60. They said it was far more fun when they were a vaudeville act and that it started to change with the Aguero moment. I think the lack of jeopardy in so many of their games has numbed them. And the rest of us

When we were winning every game at home a few seasons ago, we played Luton at Villa Park. It was so easy that it felt like a training session and the crowd struggled to get going.

Granted, we scored an own goal and Dendonkey tried to set them up for a second, but I imagine that's what it's like for Man City.

Let’s bring it back to football (kind of) shall we and this is little incident in the game between Zaragoza and Huesca. The Zaragoza keeper, his team having lost the game gets red carded and then does this.

Apparently the Huesca keeper and another Zaragoza player got sent off in the resultant brawl.

Needs to go to temper management classes?

Although not violent myself i do often think at least that is a sending off - he made it worth while. Its when they barely both touch foreheads and go down like they have been shot that pisses me off.

If we were winning comfortably on Sunday 3/4 nil then i would have a young player on the bench and instruct him to go on and take out that thug that crippled Kamara and suggest i will pay his fine.

It's hardly going to be worthwhile when he gets an extended ban.

I remember exactly that, & thinking, this is what it’s like being a glory hunter, but when you didn’t start out as a glory hunter that’s a shame.
