That's France won the World Cup, then.

3. It doesn't have a home, and if it did, it wouldn't be here.

Edit: I mean the World Cup/Euros, not the organised game itself!

Attendances are falling at the Sty. They reckon they can fill a 62k stadium? They might not get promoted for years!

It’ll be a difficult league in the Championship next season. Plenty of big clubs with decent sides, and spuds potentially. Plus their player wages are out of control.

The last time Preston won a game you wanted them to Tom Finney scored the winner.

The table looks ominous and predictably boring with 115fc now sitting on top. The games gone.

I can't be the only one not taking any joy in what is happening? As much as Arsenal have themselves to blame, the utter predictability of it all is sickening.

You might be on your own brother. Arsenal blowing it is delicious.

Yeah yeah, so everyone keeps saying.  It’s the party line, I get it. Not denying they have obnoxious fans and Atreta is a tit and so on…..why can’t both things be true?  City winning it again with 115 charges pending, as I said, sickening.

To go against the grain some more, I actually think tonight‘s result helps Arsenal. They should’ve been able to pad the goal difference but they didn’t and have harder games left. I would say it’s far from over at this point.

Certainly Man City missed an opportunity not scoring more and adding to their GD. But just going top will be psychologically damaging to Arsenal.

It’s been said by me and others that them wining the league vanishes into thin air for all other fans seconds after the final whistle. We don’t recognize it. They cheated to get here. Maybe one day they will face the consequences but none of us are holding our breath. Arsenal on the other hand act like twats all the time. Their fans will lord it over everyone on every social media platform, radio and TV station. If they didn’t act like prize wankers I think it would be a decent change to the norm. But it’s them. And it’s their tool of a manager with his petulance, his light bulbs, Tim Tok training sessions and lighting fires. Fuck off you attention seeking bell end. So stick me down for a forgettable Man City win.

Absolutely.

Man City will have 'won' nothing; Arsenal will have lost a lot. Obviously I want Arsenal to lose.

Precisely.
It means nothing to Man City other than a box ticked, whereas it means everything to Arsenal.
It will be hilariously soul destroying for them to fuck it up again, especially from the position they were in.

I don't want ANYONE to win the league, unless it's us.  And when it becomes impossible for us to win it, then it becomes "who do I most want to miss out"?  The reality is, every Man City win has an asterix against it right now, so they might win another one, but it will be tainted - even if it's only by a small amount.

An Arsenal win would be a defeat of 115 FC, which I would like, but it would also give them the opportunity to lord it over everyone - "we beat them even when they were cheating" - which I would definitely dislike. A lot.

Also, I don't want ANY club to be able to say "We sacked Unai, and the next manager we appointed won us the FA Cup and the league".  It's like when someone slights a member of your family, you hold a grudge.  And I do, against Arsenal, even though I recognise that without him being sacked by them, he's unlikely to be here with us today.

So for me, the least bothersome winners are 115FC, because it would be a win that can be dismissed as tainted, whereas an Arsenal win, could not be easily dismissed in the same way.

If Arsenal win it, you will not be able to move for twats wearing Arsenal shirts this summer.
Particularly at the World Cup.

I’m also firmly in the ‘any of the two who isn’t Arsenal’ camp.

I’m in the pro Arsenal camp..
yes the melt down will be funny but for me if Villa can’t win it they are the leat worst of the rest.
Man City and Chelsea are cheats. I’d rather be second than a thief.
My dislike of Arsenal is less than Liverpool and Man Utd as they have been dominant forces during my time of supporting football.

It will be worse if they win the Champions League.
