Fabregas seems the more obvious choice if they are back to appointing former players again.

That could be Chelsea, Liverpool, Utd, Arsenal (if they win nothing) & Spurs all looking for new managers.

Five of the Sky 6, plus Newcastle.

We just need City relegated as punishment for the 115 charges to complete the set.

So if they fail to make even the conference league there should be (with any normal team) a huge fire sale

I think they need to make a transfer profit this summer (like we did last summer) because UEFA still consider them as naughty. So they're pretty screwed whatever happens, is my understanding.

They had to this season as well. The extra fine they paid meant they weren't subject to getting their wages down/increase revenue to make 80%, but the transfer profit part was still there and it was mandatory for two seasons instead of conditional.

Brilliant that the emergence of Aston Villa as an elite club has heaped the pressure on the big boys. Managers galore sacked, mayhem and panic.

With a bit of help from Newcastle we have saved the EPL from being one big bore.

Harsh on Liam. He wiped the floor with us and we're the tenth best team in the world.
