Quote
A referee had to be escorted off the pitch by police after a controversial video assistant referee (VAR) decision in the Asian Champions League semi-finals sparked fury.

Japanese side Machida Zelvia were leading Shabab Al-Ahli 1-0 in stoppage time, but the Dubai-based team thought they had snatched a last-gasp equaliser - only for it to be ruled out for an unusual reason.

Guilherme Bala's superb solo effort was initially allowed to stand by the referee before it was chalked off after a VAR review. It was deemed the UAE Pro League side had restarted play with a throw-in while Machida were still making a substitution.

The decision sparked chaos with Shabab Al-Ahli players surrounding the referee, boss Paulo Sousa storming down the tunnel before the game had finished and goalkeeper Hamad Al-Meqbaali sent off after the final whistle.

I don't blame Rosenior in the slightest for taking the job. 6 years at a reported £4m a year is far too good to turn down given where he was.

We went through a shit run and goalless for 4 games at the start of the season and I don't recall Emery throwing the players under the bus.

Rosenior also instigated the huddle on the centre spot. The sort of negative, disruptive behaviour aimed at nothing more than winding up the opposition and the sort of shit that a gormless wanker like Robbie Savage would dream up. I'm glad it's all backfired on him.

The biggest revelation in the whole Chelski debacle is that Cucurella uses a barber.  Who'da funk it?

Let’s hope Chelsea go back to what they always were, Millwall with a posher postcode and a little bit of money.

So if they fail to make even the conference league there should be (with any normal team) a huge fire sale

The only one i like of their is Neto but i would imagine he is on ridiculous wages

I think they need to make a transfer profit this summer (like we did last summer) because UEFA still consider them as naughty. So they're pretty screwed whatever happens, is my understanding.

Think it's just the academy coach until the end of the season.
