Forest losing is good for us? Keeps them busy when the semi is being played.

No, we need spurs to go down and bury this idea of a 'big six'

We need Forest having to fight for everything in every league game until after the semi. All that matters is what's best for us between now and the rest of the season.

The CL is a massive money spinner for any club so I could see Forest (or at least the Owner with a minority stake and no control) risking PL status for the chance of winning it.

In other news the person who assisted the Burnley goal was Quilindschy Hartman. The fans must be happy he doesn't go by his first name on the jersey.

If Forest lose today I can see them going down. What a dreadful result that would be to lose to Burnley. And fuck me if we lose to them in the semi of the Europa we should be ashamed

The PL is a far bigger money spinner.

Qualifying for the CL again next year will be much less problematic without one of the greedy six in the league. And helps us further consolidate our claim to be a genuine big six club

Having them in it the last 2 seasons hasn't made a difference at the top of the table.

The PL is a far bigger money spinner.

But he also lusts after the CL and is nuts as an owner.

Man City fans selling those Arsenal water bottles that fan was drinking at the Chelsea game. That’s brave and will look utter twats if Arsenal get a win today. Funny first time around but could backfire badly.

The PL is a far bigger money spinner.

You are right on that. The PL dwarfs CL money, even more when parachute payments are factored in.

On the spurs thread there’s a YouTube thing that details where spurs will lose money if relegated (spoiler - not that detailed). Interestingly it states how it’s also bad for the PL brand as fewer viewers from overseas = less TV money across the league.

Don’t know whether that is right or wrong, however it did make me think there’s another windfall due when Wrexham come up. The clash of reality TV with what the PL already offers will provide a shit load of ‘content’. Whilst I dread that day, I also understand the PL needs to stay ahead of the other leagues, not to mention the extra cash entering the economy.

Anyway, as you were…
