Wow. An incredible game.
Madrid let down by 3 players.

Vini Jr. wasteful and ineffective in the second half.
Camavinga - twat

But Bellingham. Was he on the pitch second half ? Like every game he plays, he just literally disappears for 40 mins.
[/b][/b]

Mr Gerrard couldn't stop telling us how good he was and why he should always be in the England team.

4-3 to Bayern. Brilliant from Olise.

I remember someone saying we should sign him whilst at Reading. Can we identify that poster then promote him to chief scout?

Bayern or PSG will beat the Arse.

Bayern always shit the bed against English teams in finals since we broke them. Unless PSG get through, Arsenal have won it.

Yep, I'll never forget Bayern giving Chelsea their first European Cup (Champions League) win, helped by Robben's penalty miss. I was always convinced that Robben, a former Chelsea player, had been bribed to be shit that night, a notion that has grown stronger the more that has subsequently become clear about Abramovich.

I hate conspiracy theories but you are clearly right.

They're in miles better form than Chelsea 2012, who finished mid-table IIRC. Bayern Munich cannot be trusted against English teams in finals, and Atlético Madrid are no better than Brentford (they even dress the same). It's all down to PSG to save the day.
Think that historically, PSG always get beaten by Bayern and the former have a massive inferiority complex.

Think we beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge that season (2012) 3-1. Villa legend Stephen Ireland amongst the goals.

I don't think it was just one poster. He was a stand out young player in the championship. Not sure anyone could have predicted he would reach the heights he has done but for £7m or whatever it was, it was an obvious shout.

IITC it was £8m, and was low because it was his buyout clause, and that was low as Reading were very incompetently run at the time.

I've seen enough of Arsenal tonight to believe they aren't going to win anything now.
You poor bar steward, you watched the Arsenal game.

People always assume Olise was one who came through unknown because he made his debut as a Reading player in the championship. The reality is, he was around the academies of the top clubs since he was very young.  He did six years in the Chelsea academy, and also spent time at Arsenal and Man City.  It might be those clubs ultimately thought "talented, but not got what it takes", or it might be he decided he wanted first team football straight away and went pro at a lower level, I don't know.  But he was pretty well known by those who move in youth football circles.

Probably a result of having Spaniards making monkey noises/gestures at him every game.

These dagos should've learnt a lesson after the armada. When good old John Bull socks you what-for, you should remember it, you swarthy foreign sorts!

I think it's possible for someone to be both a constant victim of outrageous racist harrassment, AND a bit of a little prick in his own right.

Do Madrid have an internal system of fines for players that don't act like complete arseholes in the face of defeat?
