If you turned this match on right on the final whistle, and were listening to these, you'd think Liverpool had taken at least a point, and probably won.

They ripped them a new one on Irish TV. Ronnie Whelan was co-commentator, I don't think he'll be too upset when Slot gets sacked.

Atletico player did a Mings with the keeper placing it for the GK, passing it to an AM player who then stops it with his hand, the ref and VAR ignored it.

It would be funny to see Arsenal eventually get beat by a goal from Harry Kane.

If it was only a single goal? A hattrick will do me. All in the last minute.

Personally I’d find it funnier if they lost next week, rid the competition of the boring, diving zzzzz merchants

I would rather Atletico Madrid face Arsenal, to be honest. Barcelona can't defend for shit, so hopefully Atletico can shithouse Arsenal. Should be an absolutely thrilling semi-final were it to happen.

Ffs, I thought Arsenal were in the same half as Bayern/Real. Atlético are shite. They're going to reach the final without playing a knockout game against a team anywhere near as good as we played in the quarter-final, last season.

It's okay. Bayern or PSG will smash them in the final. Atletico's 50/50 too. They've been doing what Arsenal do now for 15 years.

They'll never get a better chance though. Leverkusen, Sporting, Atletico is pure Southgate.

Sadly Arsenal will be humiliated again by Sporting.

PSG should finished the tie off by some distance, Liverpool were terrible, not one shot on target.

I couldn’t for the life of me understand Liverpool’s game plan. Go toe to toe with PSG on their patch in that manner? Poor finishing kept the score from being 5 or 6. The return fixture will secure Slot’s fate should they lose at the weekend.

Well if it’s the utter imbecile who managed us speaking I think I’d pass on the validity of his opinion :-)

You'll have to narrow it down a bit more than that for those without the delights of whichever channel you were suffering.

Of all teams would like Sporting or Athletico to win it - however unlikely

Yeah, obviously Arsenal would be favourites but I reckon Atletico could do it. What a fucking terrible fixture to watch, though.

Forest have not gone strong at Porto, prioritising staying up I guess.

Just listening to Football Weekly, apparently Atletico have actually been a decent watch this season so I'm wrong. Still wouldn't mind them shithousing Arsenal to victory.
