Europe is a lot harder to qualify from than any other continent.

The tournament is far worse without Italy and Eire, we bring the craic.

Don't worry, Colombia will bring the crack.
See they were defeated by France over these international fixtures, big Jhon nowhere to be seen... is he injured or just fallen from the cliff face of top level fitba?

I wonder how he now feels about leaving?

We definitely got the better side of that deal. Also staggering that a transfer of that magnitude hasn’t really moved the dial on the impact of SCR/FFP rules.

I don’t think he’ll care a jot. I don’t think he was a bloke particularly motivated by sporting success. He’s a multimillionaire now.

That transfer is looking more and more like alchemy as time passes. Or as another Percy put it, "pure Green".

He's probably looking for a nice Russian girl to settle down with.

By the time he is finished he would of had more clubs that Tiger Woods.

Its tragic but i fear that Jhon Duran will not be around to see old age  :-\

The fucks I give about Duran are commensurate with the fucks he gives about AVFC.

I reckon he just wants to bank as much cash as possible, which given his osteoporosis and where he grew up I don't really blame him.

Hopefully you'll be around in 38 years' time to see if he's reached 60.

Nauseating that they make so much of one decision when they are the beneficiaries of so many that go in their favour.  Mighty YNWA reds aside, wonder how many other clubs behave like that?

Dropped for falling out with the manager, seemingly. On brand.

They might have agreed it was a penalty but did they also agree that Maguire's day was ruined?

Middlesbrough v Millwall has been a decent watch. 80 mins in, 1-1.

Ffs Boro, useless twats. Millwall are exactly the sort of pointless nonsense Southern club that will beat Villa. See also: Watford, Palace, Brentford.
