Villa players should be forced to watch the PSG and Barcelona matches on a loop and learn how to fucking twat the ball into the net rather than pissing around with it.

Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid and Bayern are streets ahead of any English team, their mantra being to use the ball to hurt the opposition and not having possession of the ball primarily as the means by which to stop the opposition from having it.

Once again, the much vaunted in the Media, English whitewash of European competition will have to wait another season.

Chris Sutton was saying earlier that this isn't a vintage Barca team. I thought he was talking shit.

I think much of his commentary is ok. But he's gone on about the size of the pitch again. Check the facts Glenn.

This is an embarrassing score line for Newcastle and I don’t think deserved either. Even so, going toe to toe with Barcelona on their own patch in each half is very naive.

Six English sides in the R16. Reasonable chance that only one is in the quarter finals. (Although Liverpool will probably make it two).

My word, Glen Hoddle says "my word" a lot.
Going main fer main in ve midfield on a big pitch was a big aresk.
