English teams playing away in Europe this week have performed below par in games this week so far. Chelsea losing, 115C dropping two points and Arsenal struggling till the 89th minute.

I think this weeks european results said a lot - the league is weak this year.  I think hence why we went on a great run.  Teams like everton and brentford doing so well is because being well coached and organised is enough to get you results.

Hopefully we get CL but I think that this will be seen as a low tide mark for the league.  Thats crazy given the money spent - but I think the enforced protection for the richest clubs is causing issues.

Being well coached and organised ought to be the biggest factor in success though. Richer clubs having the safety net of no spending restrictions (and these same clubs have always spent the most money, apart from man c) and thus not having to worry about making managerial, coaching and recruitment mistakes is where some of us part on what is just and what isn’t.

I'm not sure us having the 5th UCL place pretty much in the bag before the last 16 rounds start backs up the idea the league is weak. For me we just have a lot of teams hitting a bad run of form at the same time because of how competitive the league is.

Referees should be booking the twats for being twats every time they do it. It's clearly intimidation and ungentlemanly conduct. Rosenior hasn't been there long but already seems to be fully established as a typical Chelsea wanker.

Big game for Roma (and Malen’s potential transfer) today. I think they’ve dropped out of the positions which would obligate them to buy him.
