It's a blantant pen. They need to spend a bit of time figuring out what the rules are for set pieces this summer.

That should have been a penalty to Newcastle
100%
WTF are the rules anymore?

If there’s any doubt protect the Sky 6.

Reece James should have had a yellow.

Everton have done ok, defended well, hit the post and created the best chances.

Yeah, I thought so.
If that happens tomorrow for Utd its definitely a penalty but against us definitely no penalty. Referee tomorrow, Anthony Taylor born in Manchester, no corruption or bias there then.

I think most prem refs are from the north west generally aren’t they? I remember seeing an article about that some time ago.

Doesn’t explain Everton being average, I guess.

Newcastle are a very agricultural team.

That could very easily have been a penalty to Newcastle and a sending off.

Never understood why they took away the geographical bar. Same with Attwell reffing is. Creates unnecessary doubt!

Where the ref is born, or who they supported growing up when most had no inkling they would go into refereeing, shouldn’t make any difference as a professional what game they officiate.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't.

Justice done there, no pen, ref pointed straight for a goal kick.
