Never in a million years are they staying up. Be funny if they get a bit closer to get their hopes up though.

Would be a little bit bizarre if they did. Their 'Greatest Escape' would then eclipse Sandwell Town's 'Great Escape'.

Had to really rein in my reactions tonight as my husband is a Liverpool fan!

I've put up with him for 47 years - I think I'll keep him! To be fair, he cheers for the Villa when they're on TV

The only Wolves staying up is acceptable is if it sends Spurs down.
I couldn't face another shitty result at Molineux Mix next season. Let them go.

But, if Spurs get relegated? That would be worth our yearly defeat and my old man and brother giving me hell!

If Wolves do what Leicester did they'll have enough points to stay up. With that run in and their form you can't rule it out. Taking Tottenham down on the final day would be sensational.

Just seen the wolves winner - that the kind of goal we have scored against when were struggling for form.

Poor GK distribution, deflection etc.

The good thing is Liverpool are now trying to copy our slow, slow pissing about at the back and, surprise surprise, are getting the same result.

Would have been interesting had Van Dijk's header gone in at the end and before Wolves scored their second.  He looked offside on the replay, but I wonder if there would have been a VAR special.

Liverpool have some tough fixtures left.

Everton - away
Man Utd - away
Chelsea - home
& Us away , their last away of the season .

Myself i think they've got it all to do.

Last night just goes to show that our rivals will drop points in the run in. It's all down to us to get the points we need. That's the part I'm pessimistic about.

People seem to be forgetting the brilliant defending by Gakpo on Curtis Jones. If he hadn't have touched that ball it was going in. I have never seen a tackle so well pulled off when all looks los..... Oh they both were playing for Liverpool.....

VAR would have drawn the line with a banana.

Think last night shows the insanely fine margins happening in so many games this season. So many games going to the wire, so many teams being horrendous value for their win.

They couldn’t could they?

Couldn't what? They're still blose and they'll be playing them twice next season.
Wolves actually have a very winnable run in based on their last 2 games.

They do, but they have 8 games left.  Even if they suddenly develop "European challenger" form of 2 points a game, it still only gets them to 32 points, which to stay up would mean at least one of Leeds, Forest and Spurs basically not winning another game all season and losing almost all of them.

Much as I'd like to see Spurs go down, there is no way they're not winning another game this season.  Any of those three gets two wins, and they're basically no longer catchable (without Wolves turning into Man City)
