And to compound matters Spurs as fucking as horrendous as they are will stay up because Forest, West Ham, Burnley are too shit not to be two of the three to join Wolves.

Well we could do with all four being shit against us.

It's all fucking bent from PSR/FFP/SCR ratio to VAR and different interpretation of rules depending on the colours of the shirts involved - I can accept the odd cock up/error by officials but the line of travel over multiple occasions makes it clear as day that a certain number of elite franchises must keep their place at the top table.

There's only one team to blame for the fact that Man Utd will go above us today and - in all likelihood - stay above us for the rest of the season.

That said, the penalty decision is everything that we've come to expect for the last three decades.

You know very well how that’s going to go.

Kavanagh is the worst of the lot. There's a reason he was given the Man Utd game following his demotion for a week. A weak, compliant ref, born & bred in greater Manchester.

Isn't he the ref who booked everyone in sight against Bournemouth last season?

Penalty and red card for Man United, never.

An underdog story

In fairness they never really benefit from these things…

The amount of sympathy they get from the media is crazy. When we took Rashford on loan, I think it was Barney Ronay who did an article about the signing which was essentially a passive-aggressive diatribe heavily implying Villa were getting above their station and he’s too good for us etc.

They jammed a draw against us at VP a couple of seasons ago or so and the min-by-min reporter in the Graun was complaining about decisions not going their way. Same when we beat them again a few months ago.

It’s like they’re treated as an underdog instead of the bullying rich kid from an 80’s film. It would be like cheering on Johnny Lawrence beating Daniel de Russo, Biff beating up Marty etc. Only a no-heart shitbag could enjoy this.

This is where I’m at. It’s blatantly corrupt and I’m getting tired of it.
