Is the only alternative to call the game off? You can't take Vinicius Jr out and you can't take the accused midget out either. No proven guilt.

I'm not ruling out calling it off, but that's pretty much your only play. You need the break for Vinicius to have a few minutes and decide where his head is at. Feels a bit uncouth to go "Thanks for reporting it, mate. Play ball!"

As I say, I don't know.  What I meant with my post was that there has to maybe be a protocol to be followed in such circumstances?  As it was, the ref didn't really seem to know what to do, players were wandering on and off the pitch and little scuffles were breaking out.

Suppose it would be more straightforward if the ref actually heard what was said and then could act straight away.  Bit harder when it is a case of an allegation, but surely there could be some kind of process to follow.

^^ You have to wonder about people who think Celtic and Rangers fans are ‘both as bad as each other’. Celtic fans with their support for the oppressed people of the world, and Rangers fans with their support for… Reform.

When it comes to choosing sides, as someone from an Irish Catholic background, my choice has been made for me - I'm a Celtic man. I've been to a game at Parkhead and enjoyed it.

But one thing I find very troublesome are songs and chants in support of the IRA. That's not on.

Looks like Lincoln are going to play in the 2nd tier, for the first time since 1961.

Shouldn’t a team from a city with a big shipyard be supporting boats arriving?

Which is why they’re both as bad as each other.

It's a stick used against loyalism, It seems sectarianism by loyalists is acceptable by the Scottish government and certain parts of the United Kingdom, get rid the Orange Lodges and their religious extremists and the issue would improve immensely

Only if you think those who take up arms against colonisers are as bad as colonisers.

It's almost like they're not very bright.

My first game of football was their promotion from 4th to 3rd under Graham Taylor.
