the problem with Malen is that apart from the fact he’s a good finisher can control a football and he’s tricky with an eye for goal
He’s not really a proper striker

I would take Hackney and their new centre half off Middlesbrough- the latter reminds me of Torres but has more strength.

He's a world class finisher. Absolute top level.

Didn't suit the system though and there's nothing wrong with that. Counter attacking team he'll score shit loads. Or two up top/433. Just not ours.

Likely tHey’ll get promoted and have a season with Boro in the PL.  Mind you Chris Rigg was similar for Sunderland and he seems to have vanished completely.  Should we just buy him.

Rather agricultural challenge from the Sheff Utd player resulting in a red card, don’t think he can have much of an argument on that.

Kalvin Phillips looks like he might not have put everything into his training regime whilst at C115y

That's fair enough, and I can understand why we let him go/why he wanted to go. There's just a nagging feeling that we might have got a bit more for him.

We definitely could have, but needs must. We where too reliant on Ollie as the loan striker and Malen was almost consistently poor when put in that position.

In an ideal world we'd have kept him, brought Tammy in and pipped Spurs to Gallagher, but alas...

Boro top of the league

Great, hopefully Cov continue to slide down. Really don’t want them in the Prem next season, singing that bloody awful song of theirs.
