The decision was correct, even if it may not seem quite fair.

It is rightly a red card for for the foul. However, the ball only went into the net because Haaland then reciprocated the foul.

But he would have got there first if he hadn’t been fouled originally by Hungarian dude.

It’s obviously the correct decision. Neville talking absolute bollocks. You can’t just let fouls happen because there are two of them and it’s more fun that way.

Which is why it was "a clear goalscoring chance" and correctly given as a red card.

TBH it was poor from the ref initially to allow it to stand in the first place. He can rightly allow the foul by Szoblokeski because it was an attacking foul and he could allow advantage. However he can't allow advantage for the obvious foul by Haaland and should have called it back at that point anyway.

It was a clear red and should be a lifetime ban for him and his entire club.

*I haven't seen it, but it's a Liverpool player so i'm right.

Got you - ok that kind of makes sense.

VAR got everything right, though, to be fair.

Yesterday a. Pull back was ok against Brentford?

There was no shit ref/VAR. Correct decision was given, and people who think they should have just ignored the rules because "reasons" are unhappy about it.

I didn't see it, I was merely guided by the reason and wisdom of the men and women of the jury here.

I don’t know what all this means except for the media and referees have a vendetta against Villa.

The refs have an incredibly difficult job
They need all the help they can get
Does anyone believe VAR is helping them improve?

It’s always nice for Liverpool to lose in injury time, extra nice if it’s at Anfield.

VAR was 100% spot on. It may take the "fun" out of it and pre VAR would have been a goal and move on, but I'm not sure people can moan when the rules are correctly applied.

Overall, Man City winning was the ideal result for us. Maintaining as big a gap to 6th place is the aim now.

2 big home league games where 2 wins are sort of non-negotiable

Technically without VAR then the referee would have wrongly awarded the 3rd Man City goal

It certainly helped them make a correct decision today
