Just switched on this grim looking game at Braga. Where are the fans?

Is Dyche ball that off putting?

Probably much too late to be useful to you: there was a big storm and there was some talk of abandoning the game. Also, most of the locals that made it to the ground were sheltering higher up in the stands.

What a night for Forest, miss a pen, score an own goal, receive a red card, and lose to a side that had 0 shots on target.

100% Dycheball.

I think with a draw we are unlikely to get top2 as we'd need at least two of - lyon to lose, freiburg not to win, Midjylland not to win, braga not to win.
But is top 2 really that critical?

Top two means second legs at home all the way.

Guaranteed to finish top two with win.

To finish top two with draw we need at least three of the following to happen:

Lyon lose vs PAOK

Freiburg fail to win at Lille

Midtjylland fail to win vs Dinamo Zagreb

Braga fail to win at Go Ahead Eagles

Braga win by exactly one goal and score fewer goals than Villa in their final game (eg we draw 2-2, they win 1-0)

To finish top two with defeat we need at least five of the following to happen:

Lyon lose vs PAOK by at least four more goals than we lose

Freiburg lose at Lille

Midtjylland fail to win vs Dinamo Zagreb

Braga fail to win at Go Ahead Eagles

Roma fail to win at Panathinaikos

Ferencvaros fail to win at Nottingham Forest

Ferencvaros win by exactly by one goal, Villa lose by exactly one goal, Villa score two or more goals more than Ferencvaros (eg we lose 4-3, they win 1-0)

Ferencvaros win 1-0, Villa lose 3-2

Also more money for league finish and more points towards coefficient which means even more money from future events.

We should really be winning it comfortably. In terms of comparing them to others that we've played recently, they've lost home and away to Brugge this season and got pumped 4-1 by Bologna.

Did beat both Basel and Go Ahead Eagles though.

I think our first team would win. The question is how many we can afford to rotate and still beat them.

Play 5 first teamers, and bring them off on 60 mins for another 5 first teamers.
