Real Madrid manager Alvaro Arbeloa believes fan protests at the Bernabeu came from "people who don't like" the club as his side beat Levante to move to within one point of La Liga leaders Barcelona.

Madrid supporters waved white handkerchiefs before kick-off on Saturday and then aimed boos and whistles at players - in particular Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr and Federico Valverde - as well as president Florentino Perez.

"I know the source of these chants and campaigns. They come from people who don't like Real Madrid," said Arbeloa.

Those behind it were apparently the other 23 members of the England squad.

Gallagher was utterly anonymous.

Yep, I watched the second half and he was poor. Probably take a few games in getting up to speed.

I’m predicting Glasner to be in at Spurs next week.  Frank to Palace.

According to BBC Arsenal now have the chance to put some serious distance between themselves and  Man City. Of course this is true, but aren't they overlooking something?

I don’t think we should be so precious about this, flying under the radar is best for us right now as we seem to fail when the pressure is on.

Sky ‘Arsenal can really take a huge step towards the title today especially given the Spurs result.’

Eh, how does the Spurs result effect Arsenal at all?

He says he's leaving palace at the end of the season. I reckon he'll be off to ManU. Next Spurs manager? Andy Reid.
