I think V Sports reduced its stake to under the UEFA threshold so it’s not an issue moving forwards.

It did. What's the story with Chelsea and RC Strasbourg Alsace, do they have to play by the same rules?

Well it is Chelsea..... but in theory, if Strasbourg or Chelsea were in the same competition then one would be demoted/banned. In more theory, if it is qualification by league placement then Chelsea would be the one affected as Strasbourg would have "qualified" first. However I suspect Strasbourg might suddenly lose matches at the end of the season if that prospect was close to happening.
