Plus we’ve got Sunderland at home which we always win unless we are getting relegated in the same season.

All things considered, with us on the wrong end of a 4-1 defeat, the entire round of fixtures has actually gone pretty well for us.  We're still 9 points clear of 6th, and 6 points clear of 4th.  That's a pretty decent position to be in as we head into 2026.

Happy New Year all!

Agreed.

Plus if you're like me and you don't rate Arsenal at all, then it's a fucking great position.

We've had our bad patch and our tough aways, they haven't.

I'm so optimistic.

They've played most away, they have ManC and Spurs left.

Leeds and Brighton too, they will slip up in those  8)

They dropped points in the aways we won in.

It's only our shit start that has got them ahead.

They will have a bad patch.

Then we will overtake.

Seems like there’s a lot of dross this season and some of the midrankng teams like Bournemouth, Brighton, Palace, Spurs, Brentford have gone backwards as well as some of the teams I’d expected to be challenging for top 4 like Liverpool and Newcastle.

If we can get some players back and keep up our form from the last few years we will be staying in top 3.

Man City never ever seem to get done for those turnover fouls.

We need Isildur to cut the Citizens down to size. Like he did to Suarons ring all those years ago.

Last year there were a lot more goals scored in the Premier League.

Watford scored more today than the 8 teams playing in the Premier league combined.

MOTD will be crap tonight.
