I definitely don't ignore that, they have clearly been destabilised by some of the new signings. Slot basically won with Klopp's team and now he's fucking up his own, but the Jota death will also be a factor. We all know elite sport is about percentage points and it will most likely have knocked a couple off for some individuals. How much of an effect is debatable, but it will be there. Robertson showed that with his interview.

Slot is clearly however now doing a shit job.

I meant in the press really. Jota dying will clearly have hurt the squad but given they won 7 games in a row to start the season (ignoring the glorified friendly the week before) I think it is being used as a bit of an excuse right now.

I haven't seen them using it as an excuse. But regardless, i'm not sure we should be judging how much a friend and team mate dying is having an impact. As I said look at Robertson and that was while with Scotland.

Especially as we spent weeks using JJ going a few hundred miles up the road as a reason for being crap.

Jota is obviously a factor, particularly for Robertson etc who were close to him….

But….that is no excuse for 5 new signings contributing the little bit Ekitike did in August/September & literally nothing else or the two players they spent months and months to give huge final contracts looking like they’ve switched off

Sack him off and give it Slippy G

Hopefully they lose the next few, sack him off and the new boss wants Elliott back

"We" the fans? Or "we" the club?

Mainly on here but some of the players made it pretty clear JJ going wasn't something they were fans of.

However i'm mainly talking about us on here. We can't go from saying JJ leaving was a reason and then say Jota dying isn't. Quite simply we don't know. Dismissing it just seems bad form.

Since they befriended Infantino's mate Trump.

Since two alleged rapists got together.

Not sure why we are routing for English clubs.

Completely off topic, but I always thought it was “rooting” rather than a gerund of route.

Liverpool would be the only club I worry about with Unai, any of the others I don't think he'd want it, but them there's a slight doubt.

I had that exact thought the other day.

I don't care what is causing it, I just very much like the concept of Liverpool going to shit - preferably the worst definition of 'to shit', and as fast as possible.

Agreed.

This! I must watch that David Mellor lookalike from the Anfield Wrap who was so insufferably smug last season!

Slot comes across like a very unlikable, arrogant man.  I’d imagine now the results are shite, the players want him gone.

Just seen Van Djik's handball. I'm surprised he wasn't given a yellow for it as seemed deliberate and blatant and he didn't seem to have been fouled. Looked more like he had misjudged it and tried to stop it going over him for an easy goal.
when I played Sunday league I can honestly say I never saw a stupider handball than that last night. What the fuck was he thinking?? And yes it should have been a yellow for sure but just like Chiesa's professional foul late in the game when PSV had a break on it wasn't given - nothing to do with being in front of the kop though was it...
