The top sides are still very good, most of the rest are better than ever which is the difference. It's not substandard at all. the standard is better than ever.

Arsenal could finish the weekend with 9 wins out of 12, 6 points clear, the highest scorers and the best defence. Pretty sure that qualifies as superb so far.

It’s a sub standard PL so far. They’ve no real competition. They’ve only won 2 games by more than 2 goals; Forest and Leeds. Other than that they’ve been good rather than great. Yeh all those stats are true but averaging less than two goals a game to be top when 8 goals came from 2 of their 11 games isn’t superb in my opinion.

They're top of the league, though. If that was us, I don't reckon I'd give a shit if every game we won was by one goal which came from a shinned-in deflection.

He’s so gracious in defeat, Pep.

Said nobody.

I wish the powers that be would bring him to book for his constant foul gobbing. I mean it's disgusting.Right next to the fourth official.

What was refreshing was seeing Man City taking a long throw. The bullshit purists that they are.
We need Arse to implode now.

Arsenal have a couple of loseable games coming up.

If we can somehow get ourselves back on a run, we may just find ourselves within striking distance by the time they come to Villa Park.

A team winning the league due to fine margins rather than just steamrolling the opposition? Yes please.

If they do that after we proved he is an absolute hopeless mess of a coach they get all they deserve

You are looking at the league table and overthinking this. The other nineteen sides are to varying degrees rubbish, and we are great.

The title is wide open this year.

Is it silly to think we could win it? I don’t think it is, we’d need Ollie to find his shooting boots and go on a hot streak but it’s not beyond the realms of possibility.

Heard an amazing stat earlier - that today was Dyche's biggest ever league win on Merseyside. Given he managed Everton for a good couple of years, that's quite something.

Just caught up with the overnight highlights. The Chelsea/Mings thing was annoying. And I can only think the Forest goal was disallowed because ‘Anfield’. But still.
