Slot ain’t making it to Christmas.

Just annoying that we got our tactics so wrong the other week, they were there for the taking.
They struggle against teams that sit deep and that isn’t us. We are ideal opponents for them. But, on a brighter note, Man C have won 6 of the last 7, lost to guess who?
It has been us when we've needed to.  Emery is capable of setting them up like that and has in the past.

Win tomorrow, and we're up to 4th. That would be a decent position to be in with Wolves at home to come.

JJ on the bench again and that’s with Gordon out. I said when he went I don’t see where he plays.

It's a sixteen player sport now, tbf. Despite their current position, Newcastle still have Champions League ambitions and top five clubs regularly have £30-£40 million types on the bench.

Anywhere else on the pitch and that’s a foul

Shar again gets away with a horrible challenge in the box. VAR could / should have done more about what was a reckless challenge.

Can’t believe Newcastle got away with that penalty without ref going to monitor & Hall not getting a yellow for flinging himself to the ground

Glad it’s not just me who thought both of those things. Barnes misses sitter.

Barnes was offside anyway. Foden misses an onside opportunity.
