How come Surinam aren't in the South American qualifying system ?

Can't be like Israel having to play outside their geographical area because they don't play nicely with others

They're Caribbean, so are in CONCACAF. CONCACAF is for "North, Central America and Caribbean".

Basically they've always looked North rather than South for sporting rivalries, same with Guyana.

Although some cities in Colombia and presumably Venezuela, also think of themselves as Caribbean, rather than Latin American.

Ireland seem to be on a bit of a roll. You never know.

American vintners will be hoping you're right.

Barry Glendenning mentioned that it feels like Ireland always play Denmark, is that the case? It seemed inevitable to him (before the draw). It's not something I've paid much attention to.

Played six times in three years between 2017 and 2019, but haven't met since. It seems to mostly end in a draw so might be worth practising penalties.

Burnley and Chelsea enter the pitch to the music of Ennio Morricone which is nice.

Turf Moor has 'X' advertising, which - I suppose - is consistent with the ReformUK leanings of the locals. I wonder what they think about their team's diversity?

Sangwell fans are boycotting because of the ticket price. One can only assume it's the same price at all their other away games....
