That was a Roy of the Rovers finish to a game of such importance. Great entertainment.

Brilliant, scream here frightened my little girl 😂

The winner eerily reminiscent to Robbie Keane's v Germany in 2002 with Quinn's knockdown.

Azaz changed the game when he went into centre mid.

Incredible from Ireland and Troy Parrott. Presume he's gonna get a move back to England on the back of the last few days. His life has changed forever.

Yet we still have to win two more games in March, feckin' hell...

Hopefully Parrott is sensible enough to run a mile from the EPL. Playing up top for Moyes would ruin him completely. Dortmund, Milan et al would suit his technical skills.

I'd never really heard of Parrott before these games, he's flying!

And Portugal will be far better off when they bin off the crap Ronaldo, so hopefully they keep picking him.

As Kelleher hoofed the ball forward and high in the dying seconds, what came to mind was Bulgaria knocking-out France in Nov '93 to reach USA '94 with the last kick of the game. But then the flick on to Parrott and his finish was almost a carbon-copy of Robbie Keane against Germany in Japan in 2002 as Bronte mentioned.

Been impressed with Azaz everytime I've seen him.

On the more boring England topic, Bellingham back and the same old rubbish being trotted out. He must be in the squad for the WC.yeah, regardless of form he's there. Hope they get battered.*

They're already through so rotating a bit. Seems an odd thing to get angry about. Quite happy for Konsa and Rogers to get nowhere near the pitch today and come back to Bodymoor safe and sound.

Konsa's back already isn't he?

Quite happy for Bellingham to play a fairly ineffectual 70 minutes, Rogers to comes on, score four and then has a pleasant trip home.

My point isn't about tonight but about reputation before form in tournaments that has hamstrung England for generations. If it's Bellingham V Rogers, pick the player in form. The Jarman has done it so far but I fear he may fall into that age old trap.

I wonder if Lee Dixon has considered a side hustle in motivational speaking.
