Brilliant play by Rogers for the 2 1 touch passes before he slipped on the follow up, he looks totally at home for England now. He definitely benefits when Kane isn't standing on his toes though because he has struggled to find space at times when Harry drops into the same area.

Which is fine, but that's a Rogers problem not a Kane problem.

The team will be picked (correctly in my opinion) on the attackers who can work the best with Kane.

So if Rogers wants to play, he needs to adapt his game rather than expecting Kane to adapt his.

Yeah, sure, was just pointing out that our best play was when Kane wasn't standing in at 10.

I'm not slagging Kane off, just pointing out that how he plays makes it difficult for the players in behind him at times.

But it doesn't have to be difficult - the right player would know to move out of the place they think they should be and into a more useful one.

Shouldn't Starmer be ensuring Serbs could attend a match on English soil without any issues?
Anti-Serbianism.
It's a sad day when Serbian hooligans.... sorry I mean Catholics are not safe  in streets of London.

Problem with having a short arse as a striker.

It would be interesting who that player is in the England setup, as I don't think it is Bellingham on previous matches they have played together. It was noticeable that Rogers was vacating the area more though and playing wider for long swathes today.

Bellingham's playing like a man not fit to clean Rogers' boots.

Same old England struggling against a determined team. Is it going to be any different in the later stages of the WC?

I'd be quite happy with another semi-final or final.

Italy need an 88th minute goal to (probably) squeeze past bottom-of-the-group, -22 goal difference Moldova.

Another position Foden can't play in the England team.
