11 mins of added time, but Brentford hung on

Last few minutes were nuts

Amusing that Brentford play Hey Jude at the end of the match.

As soon as they brought that goalie corner rule in I thought "this will only ever apply when it benefits one of the red glory-hunting teams". Sure enough. I've seen goalkeepers hold it longer before they even start thinking about beginning their run-up.

I couldn’t believe the hype about the Salah deal . He was only going to go one way after that last season at that age . I am not saying he isn’t a good player but i would have looked elsewhere

I know it's publicity for them but still a nice touch for the 90 that made the trip.

Another Keith Andrews masterclass.

Obviously people don't like being wrong about stuff, but it's quite nice when everyone is wrong about something together.

I don't recall any opinion in the summer other than "Andrews is a crazy appointment and Brentford are screwed and going down".

Good on him, and them. Almost makes our defeats to them earlier in the season a bit more palatable too.

Finished Gateshead 2-2 Truro, notable for being the longest away trip in English league football history.

The first of two longest away trips in Football league history.

I'm not sure why people suddenly want to the rules changed so Liverpool don't get penalties awarded against them when the foul is given for contact inside the box. Then seem to state it is the same as a goalkeeper picking up a backpass so should be an indirect freekick. I realise we don't score from pens but other teams do.
