If only they have a game on the horizon where they can get back on track?

I think they thought that would be the Man U game.

I think that defeat will really have stung them, so I'm kinda glad they have 3 games before they play us at home.

Seeing Liverpool spending all that only to get definitively worse is really really something.

Don't think we can underestimate the impact Jota's death has had on their squad. Obviously loss of a very good player but lots of them no doubt still grieving.

In possession, Bradley is a major downgrade on what TAA could give them in games like yesterday. Kerkez on other side seems lost again in comparison to what Robertson used give them too.

I said last season we'll see if Slot is any good when they hit a bit of a slump, which never happened last year with his already well drilled squad, but there were signs then in any minor adversity that he didn't handle it with much grace.

In context they’ve also scored some late goals to rescue results earlier in the season.

Yes, obviously the horrible thing that happened with Jota does cast the whole thing in a more sympathetic light, you're right there. But there's definitely a mess going on with players signed for insane money after long wrangling sagas, who apparently can't all play in the same team and only one of whom - the least expensive - is actually contributing.

Also they bought Frimpong to be in the TAA role, so deciding Bradley is the first choice is strange.

To be fair to Carragher, he has been calling this out since the start of the season. Late goals not sustainable to maintain results, ironically enough Gakpo missed an absolute sitter late on yesterday. Carragher was also strong on prioritising the Isak budget elsewhere in the squad, seems to be the right call on the evidence so far too.

None of the title favourites seem unstoppable thus far.

Fun fact. Harry Maguire has scored more league goals at Anfield this season than Isak and Wirtz combined.

They definitely needed another option in DM and probably another CB because VVD is struggling to carry the defence this season and it's highlighted how average Konate is.

Lots of empty seats at West Ham tonight. The weathers shite though and they just don't like that stadium/owners.

Did you know Spurs could have gone second if they had won yesterday. ☺
