He also does the job that means Rice can play his Arsenal role rather than sticking him as some soty of auxiliary third centre back

And it's nice that it's Konsa who keeps his place to allow Stones to come in, rather than Guehi.

After tonight there are only five matches before the World Cup, so the more the side is settled with the likes of him and Rogers in it the more likely it is thar they'll be there for England's opening game against Cape Verde.
