Tough....feel for our Irish community

Cheers, but we've had worse days e.g. June 18, 1988.

Just need to win our last 3 games and finish second in the group.

It's good that Portugal are at home to Hungary on Tuesday, they don't have to travel and will be buoyed by the late win, so I'd expect them to win. We may not need to beat or even draw with Portugal in Dublin to finish second. But probably have to win in Budapest. And obviously, must beat Armenia on Tuesday.

For anyone interested, the ever excellent HITC Sevens did a video about the state of Bulgarian football last year

It's well worth it. Especially the role of some of the '94 team.

Can I just say once again.  Fcuking hell Doncaster.  0-4 away at orient.  I went against Bradford at home in early September and they’ve not won since!

Portugal have an outstanding squad but won't threaten winning a World Cup carrying Ronaldo. Crazy tactics by that patsy Martinez not pressing the Irish defenders when they had the ball. Sickening way to finish, Martinez at his best would have put Nevez to sleep in that situation. Kelleher is a fine shot stopper but doesn't have that presence in his box.

Agree entirely.

Elsewhere, Yeimar Mosquera's Colombia beat South Africa 3-1 to go through to Under-20 World Cup QF.

Now through to the semis after a 3-2 win against Spain.

Why do Doncaster mean so much to you? The only Donny you should be loving is our Malen.

KV loves Donny. No. 47 is his favourite player.

Crushed by the Mighty O's, my hometown team. Good result for Orient.

Went to Orient a few years ago on a Saturday (before NFL on the Sunday. They were a very friendly bunch. Seem to concede far too many to mount a serious push for promotion to the Championship though.

Malen scores for Netherlands against Finland. Scotland seem to be going for the tactic of playing incredibly badly again, seeing as it worked against Greece.

Dispatched with aplomb, as they say.
