Yes Brentford get Thiago who was out injured most of last season, Forest get Igor Jesus and Brighton regularly pick up good players. Our recruitment pales in comparison really.

The Forest one is dodgy as fuck at the moment with the links between Forest and Textor. However sometimes transfers come off and sometimes they don't. You don't see the ones that those teams buy and they disappear back to Europe a few years later, only the one who go for mega millions to the big clubs.

bluer than blues

He absolutely does but Coventry are miles ahead of us. They've been competing in and around the playoffs for several seasons, whereas we have been utter shite except for last season.

In hindsight, we should never have expected to be up there this season. This season should always have been about consolidation but from there has been unnecessary pressure but on us.

I understand TW's need for prem revenue to get the SQ going but we need to think longer term.

Rat-face missed a penalty.

Pretty obvious red card not given, too. Shame.

This is the first time Coventry will have started a season with seven games without defeat since their League One campaign in 2019.

It's their best run in the top two divisions since the Premier League season of 1993-94.

Frank Lampard really has got them ticking hasn't he?

I'm glad no one was stating Cov were making a big mistake with Lampard whilst simultaneously praising Leicester for appointing Van Nisterooy last year.
