Watched the Fulham game earlier - Tom Cairney must have one of the best gigs in football.  Probably on a big wage there and although I'll admitI don't follow Fulham closely, I  haven't really seen him play more than 20 minutes in a game for years.  Comes on, barely gets above a jog and pops a few passes off - job done.

Really good game this.  Both look infinitely better than us currently.

Other than Wolves and us, every team in the league can point to some positive performances or results.

Arsenal home record against the "big six" excellent since 2023. Didn't we beat them 2-0 on the way to finishing 4th? Oh, I forgot .....

Haalands goal demonstrating everything that was missing from our forward play today. It's enough to make me weep.

Newcastle were lucky not to have given away a penalty AND been down to 10 men themselves today. Thiaw did three booking offences and only got one yellow. And I'm not sure why Tonali got away with handball. His arm was not anywhere near a natural position. I suspect as there was no Bournemouth players near him, that might have called it but the ref called the same type of handball outside the box for the final freekick.

I found myself thinking we could do with a lot of what Doku was providing, as well.

it was like watching a different sport. The ball moving around quickly.

Doku seems to have been given a lot of free reign this season and not just locked to the left wing.

Hannah Hampton becomes the second Villa goalkeeper to win Yashin Award. Shame she left a few seasons ago.

Aberdeen now played five, scored zero. Imagine going on that sort of goal drought, how embarrassing.

Ekiteke has been sent off because he took his shirt off after scoring.
