Chelsea are throwing this massively. Maresca might be a manager to watch for a sacked bet. They bought a shit load of attacking hope but no defenders.

on a booking and 2-0 up, it was a daft challenge, but yes still very harsh.

Harsh?

Not at all. He’s on a yellow. He puts his arm across the forward and pulls him over. That’s a yellow every time.  Or in his case a second one. And then he shakes his head all the way to the tunnel. Such an injustice. Wanker

He's spent 12 years as a Real Madrid or Man Utd player, of course he thinks it's an injustice because he's used to getting away with stuff like that.

I think it is harsh if the “higher threshold” for a 2nd yellow became an actual thing.

It is there already in a lot of refs minds. And it shouldn't be.

Fuck him. He’s a Man U player. They always get the favourable calls when they play us. It was a shame the shit referee didn’t consider the higher threshold when he blew his whistle really quickly in the game at the end of last season to deny us a critical goal. Pricks the lot of them.

For all Chelsea’s creative accounting/cheating/available resources they’re showing themselves to be a bit shit here.
