Get in there rash!

Why do you want him to score against a decent club like Newcastle? (Oil money apart - which they can’t spend - bit like our owners can’t spend)

Dear God in heaven.

1. It's part of being a football fan that you never want other English teams to do well in Europe.
2. They're competing with us in the same mini league in English football, why would you want them to do well?
3. Their fans.
4. Their owners are absolute fucking murdering scum.

Apart from that, haway the lads.

Newcastle fans are pretty tame and inoffensive.
Boring and a bit thick. But generally genuine.
Don’t get the venom.

I don't hate Newcastle, but certainly not cheering them on amd pleased Rashford has scores a few.

Only non-Villa English teams I can remember hoping would do well in Europe were Middlesbrough and Fulham.

Totally agree. When Chelski won it the 1st time, was horrible listening to them sing “ we know what we are…champions of Europe” all the following season.

Fair play to Rashford, a better brace you will wait a long time to see. Amorim probably turned over to watch Long Lost Family...

They've been shocking second half. Atmosphere's been shit for at least 70 mins as well. Turned it off.

Newcastle came out like a runaway train both haves and ran out of steam after 10 minutes each time.

To be far the bias went down a peg when Alan Green retired.
He was a rapid Liverpool fan.

His contract wasn't renewed, and he wasn't best pleased. https://www.prolificnorth.co.uk/news/alan-green-hits-out-bbc-showing-very-little-respect-dropping-him-5/
I thought he retired.
I can remember his radio commentary from about 1979.
He was so red.  Mainly Liverpool but went a bit ManU at times.  His bias was ridiculous.

You kind of knew that would happen.
Bit naive.

Green could have been an all time commentating great, he learnt at the knee of the untouchable Peter Jones for a start,  but he regressed into a kind of appalling biased double act with Lawro and it was all downhill from there.

Same here. I want Grimsby and Accrington to win every European game.
