Have man united won the league?  What’s with their obsession on Saturday night football?

And now they’ve advertised the spam forest game in full Paqueta mode.

Not just us struggling for form. Everyone seems to have started unevenly so far. Some consolation at least.

It’s a shame Burnley couldn’t hold on but otherwise a couple of decent results. If we’re going to be competing for 5th we’ll presumably be competing with Newcastle Forest Spurs so any weekend where they drop points us decent if we win. IF.

Things that were guaranteed today - Brentford losing after their win last week and Man Utd getting a late penalty.

The Brentford loss doesn't surprise me in the slightest, Man Utd, what can you say, there was no way poor old Burnley was getting out of that with a point or 3, the whole football industry was willing Man Utd on to win by hook or by crook, just like it was in the last game of last season.

Seemed like it was a bit harsh on them. Late winner for Sunderland, but Brentford missed a penalty and had a goal disallowed.

It’s because Amorim has said that’s the Man U he wants to see. Like the version that at home gets a very jammy, very late win against promoted Burnley. That version. So yes they are back. Erm…again.

As a big fan of "oh yeah, that guy!" moments, nice to see that Oviedo is also where Salomon Rondon is these days.

The Chelsea penalty had a Chelsea handball in it which was ignored, then a Fulham and all which was given. It’s just not subtle any more.

Just watching it on MOTD now.  Highly dubious decision to rule out Fulham's goal as well.
