Amorim did not hold back in his assessment of his side's performance, saying: "I think this is a little bit the limit. I think something has to change. I think the team and the players spoke really loud today."

He does love throwing his players under the bus. He had £160mil of HIS players on the pitch to start with and dropped another one of his £65mil attackers on for the end. (let alone the other £100mil value of players subbed on).

Some nice ties there and they get to greet Trent on his return to his boyhood club!

That doesn't look like the easiest draw they could have got.

Chelsea are up next. They will play Barcelona (home), Bayern Munich (away), Benfica (home), Atalanta (away), Ajax (home), Napoli (away), Pafos (home) and Qarabag (away)

Same could be said for those games.

Pafos is David Luiz's current stomping ground. I imagine that might be brought up once or twice in the run up to Chelsea vs Pafos.

Still boils my piss that this absolute shower of shite battered us last game of the season.

For whatever reason, Unai stopped doing what had got us on that winning streak, starting from the Man City game. That game set the tone for the final run-in. We were scared of them even though they were there for the taking, and were way too passive. See also: Palace semi, ManUre away.

Ruben is safe in his job apparently.  Good to hear a club showing loyalty for once.

Only Russell Martin is better at it.

Gerrard used to like it too. It's almost as if it's the first refuge of the charlatan.

I wouldn't have minded them having extra-time this evening though.

Looked like a pretty-much full strength side, which is good. Although Fredrikstad is right in the south of Norway, so no big trip to the Arctic Circle for them.
