Either Man City are still on the downward slide under Pep or Spurs have finally got a proper manager.

Maybe a little from column A and a little from column B

The last think we want is a decent Spurs team challenging for the European places.

The last time they were half decent we finished 4th. They will run out of steam in March as night follows day.

It's a pretty low quality match, loads of errors.

Neither team looks particularly good.  On our game we could beat either of them.

Paulinha is a very good player and you can see how Spurs are benefiting from his defensive ability in midfield.

Spurs are a bit of a bogey team for Pep. They let in four against them at home last year.

Looks like Guardiola has shifted his thinking on the game: there has been much less passing-across-the-back, more long balls and a focus on forward momentum. Very different to previous sessions; maybe matching Liverpool's approach last season.
Interesting, given how ponderous we looked last weekend.
Not that's helping Citeh currently.

Yep. Baffles me that Kompany didn't rate him.

Noticed on the BBC thread that City already delaying 2nd half kick-offs. It needs to be more then a monetary punishement to stop it happening.

Despite the score surely we are all hoping in that in the final few minutes Spurs go all Spursy and blow the lead to end up with a point.
