Re the Palace disallowed goal. A rules has been dug up which I’ve never heard of and I’m pretty sure hasn’t been enforced before. Seems like a case of protecting the Big 6. Can someone explain what I’m missing.

If chelsea scored  that there is absolutely  no chance that gets disallowed. Its like the one against us ve manure a rule no one knew about.

Its funny when these "rules" come into light its always the smaller club that gets fucked over.

Anyone remember  that penalty manure got after the final whistle blew i think it was against brighton a few years ago? Another example

Can you confirm which rule Manure got over us? They normally get the rub most times so they all roll into one.

As for the Penalty after the final whilstle, I didn't think it was little known. In fact it was in all the FAQs about VAR at the time under "What happens if VAR is reviewing the incident and the half-time/full-time goes?" (Along with what happens if VAR is reviewing a penalty incident one end and the ball stays in play and the other team score?)

It looked like the Palace player pushed 2 Chelsea players out of the way and the ball went into the goal through the gap created by the push.
I would be disappointed if that goal was given against us.

Yep, it was an obvious preplanned shove to create the space and was correctly disallowed.

Though they didn't penalise the shove, they stated he was too close to the wall.

With that shoving not being reviewed or penalised, and with Newcastle pushing us all over the place on Saturday, it seems like you're allowed to do it!

Ungentlemanly conduct is what it was. A term rarely used in football nowadays.

They kind of did with the movement  being so obvious, they then saw he was too close to the wall.

Sometimes. Certain clubs, who have a reputation for being battlers (Newcastle, Forest, Everton for example) get away with pushing and pulling a lot more than other sides do.

The one they really need to start punishing is when the push/pull/nudge comes after a player has jumped, making it impossible for them to do anything to protect themselves. It's not competing, it's just obvious cheating that has bene allowed to creep in. Burn is particular does it all the time.

It's called unsporting behaviour now.

Well, it was both ungentlemanly and unsportsmanlike. I prefer the former on the basis it portrays fairness and harks back to a period in time where proper behaviour mattered. Something that hasn’t been seen too much of in the last 50 years.

I'm glad they have an appreciation of 80s pop music. Step right Up is probably my favourite of hers.

After reading this, I now have 'Could it be I'm falling in love' in my head.

If he stays fit and recovers some form, he will soon become the most fouled player again.
