Seems the way to beat PSG is to just hoof it long and hope it sticks or you can win a set-piece.

A Championship team with serious promotion prospects would be out of sight by now

Are PSG seriously going to fuck it up again against an English side? If it wasn’t enough Palace winning the FA Cup and Charity Shield, Spurs winning the Europa and Super Cup would be horrific.

As a random aside, Wrexham have weird goalposts. If you watch their LC highlights Hull score and the Hull fans had no idea as the ball bounced out like it had hit a post. Even watching the highlights I only knew it was a goal when the players celebrated. After a few seconds of them celebrating you hear the Hull fans start as well.

I was at the Wrexham vs Hull game last night. As well as watching the Villa home and away, I am also trying to do ‘the 92’. That was stadium number 79 last night.

Anyway, you’re right. There was like a delayed reaction when Hull scored their second goal. The ball bounced out off the goal support off the back of the goal. I honestly thought it had been cleared off the line (perhaps my eyesight is failing!). It took several seconds before the Hull fans realised it was a goal and celebrated accordingly.

As an aside the Wrexham Lager in the Turf pub was superb on a warm August evening.

they are far from invincible, they'd lost 4 times in the ECL last season before we beat the down B6

Even when they were losing those early matches they were normally dominating chances and possession. Then they clicked at the right time adding some key players in Jan and the rest is history. But both Chelsea and Spurs have worked them out which is long balls and set pieces, then let them frustrate themselves. Chelsea also had "fresh" players going into the final because they bought early and used them at the competition where this looks like a team playing their first match since June.
