I didn't see the game, but a draw was a fair result in the end.

Agreed, neither looked Prem tonight

Consensus seems to be the penalty was correct given the current handball laws

Laughing my cock off at Blues but never a pen. Which makes it even funnier obviously 🤣

Under the current rules it is, arm was in an unnatural position, there were plenty of similar ones given last season.
Yeah I know but I just think its bullshit

The scummy Blues fans throwing things on the pitch. A bunch of thugs on the pitch. Great that Ipswich equalised!

FULL-TIME
Birmingham 1-1 Ipswich

Birmingham thought they were back with a bang before George Hirst's 95th minute penalty.

Jay Stansfield's second-half goal looked like it would be enough to win it for Blues who make it 26 league games at home unbeaten and dominated much of the match.

Score 1-1
xG 1.38 -1.31
Possession
50.5 to 49.5

They had a few more shots wide and had two more on target but not really seeing the domination here.

You don’t have to look Prem to come up from The Championship. Look at how teams who’ve come up from The Championship have fared there recently.

Everything about that club is truly horrible.

Same old cliches when Blues are playing, from the commentary team. Stuff chucked on the pitch in direction of the Ipswich players …” no place for that in football”. Same as it ever was.

Just noticed that Villa, Blues, Albion, Wolves and Walsall will all have played at home first game. That can’t have happened often if ever before?

Not often you see a global football super-power concede a dubious late penalty at home...

And it didn't happen tonight, either.

Boohoo.

How dare a bunch of Suffolk clodhoppers take a point at the temple of all that is holy in the world of overhyped footy.

A point against the winningest team in the history of Division 3 with the biggest and bestest plans for world domination in a 3-year time frame is not to be sneezed at.

Tom Brady has called for the Commissioner of Soccer in England to have the penalty cancelled and the win awarded to Blues.

Justice for the Small Heathens
