The winner was a clinically placed header. Unfortunately it was Wimbledon's defender into his own net.

Harrogate Town bagged an opening-day win; nice. Looking forward to spending more time down the Wetherby Road ground this season after not having renewed my VP ST. Theakston's on free flow throughout the game...

I watched the first half hour of Luton v Wimbledon before I could stand it no longer, it was truly awful.


I always associate that fixture with possibly the lowest attendance for a Cup semi-final and having to endure a handful of mouthy Wombles at Euston as I traipsed home from watching us draw at Selhurst Park.
